Went looking for cobia, found nothing. Went looking for Amberjack – found cobia. Cobia on the grill tonight for these guys. Nice work fellas!
Can’t believe the busy season is coming to an end. What a great year! I really appreciate everyone who came and fished with me this summer. I can’t thank you enough for choosing Salt Minded Charters! Morning trip – ran out looking for the grass that was loaded with Mahi. it vanished over night……. Came back inside and caught a mess of bottom fish and 3 drum. Fun morning!
Afternoon we headed out looking for a cobia and we found a few. Got 1 for the box and a throwback. Saw a pair of mooses, but I did thing that I usually do when cobia fishing – blow it! Thanks for fishing with me guys, fun day!
Fun day of Mahi fishing today. Had some beautiful water and huge grass mats 6 miles off the beach. We probably caught well over 50 mahi on the morning trip. 30 in the box and back to the dock at 11. Mostly small , but a few nice ones in the mix. Went back out and got me some for my freezer. Fish tacos for days!
