Disconnecting . . .

It’s taken me way too long to pull the plug on social media (mainly Facebook).  I’m finally realizing how much of a huge waste of time can be. I will say that it has certainly helped grow my business, but I feel that it isn’t something I really need anymore.  I am going to continue to update my website, and I will also make videos and an occasional Instagram photo.   I appreciate everyone who follows my blog – thank you guys so much!!!

Recent little fly fishing trip – few specks and a flounder.

Capture

Buggy Whip

Matt and I went out for a little fly fishing session.  Caught specks, stripers, and a rat red.  Super fun time with nobody around and some hungry little fish.

1 and done

Had a crew out today in search of the big drum.   We were hooked up about 30 mins into it.  Craig lands a stud in the upper 40s.   Fished until 1pm without another bite.   Thought we were on to something.   Looks like another hard blow moving in – ready to get after em when it clears.  thanks for checking!

Sky Blue

Today wraps up a week long charter with the crew from Sky Blue Outfitters. The trip had its ups and downs from huge reds to skunks and everything in between. We mainly focused on fly fishing which is an added challenge to an already “hit or miss” fishery. We caught stripers, trout, blues, and flounder on flies – mostly small, but a few nice fish. Can’t thank the Pennsylvania crew enough for choosing me as their guide. I’m looking forward to seeing them next year! Here is Mark with a beautiful 18″ speck.

Stripers

The striper fishing is really heating up!   We caught the small ones on fly rods today.  We managed a some keepers on the troll.
