More Rock

Yesterday I had a morning trip with Jess and her husband Greg.  We had some slow fishing, we managed to catch 5 stripers with only 3 keepers.  Beautiful morning on the water though.  So nice that I took my 5 year old back out later that afternoon to see what we could catch.  We ended up having a great afternoon / evening catching a dozen nice keeper rock fish.  Not a whole lot more I’d rather do then watch the smile on my daughters faces when they are out enjoying the outdoors with me.  Thanks for checking.  Pretty busy schedule next week so I should have some reports for ya.

STRIPERS!

Not big on posting dead fish pics, but I wanted to show you guys how good the striper fishing is right now.  Glad to see the quality and quantity of fish we have around.   Perfect timing for those visiting the Outer Banks for Thanksgiving.   Give me a call and lets do some fishing while you are down.   Yesterdays catch……

No show

A phone call would have been nice, but my party from this morning decided to leave me hanging.  Thanks for the free $100 – no, you aren’t getting it back.  Meanwhile, here is some footage from yesterdays Albie madness, enjoy!

Albies today, Charter Tomorrow.

Insane Albie fishing with my brother today.  Calm conditions and hungry fish everywhere.  I got some great footage so I will put together a video soon.   Charter tomorrow – going for stripers.  Stay tuned for a report. Thanks for checking!

Nanner superstition

Some people think bananas are bad luck on a boat…… I don’t.  Today I had Jim and Colleen and their 3 kids on the boat for a morning half dayer.   We started off at the striper grounds and we found motherloads of dinks.  Great fun for the kids casting and hooking their own fish non stop.  Never found the keepers we wanted. Headed to the trout grounds and started casting.  One of the kids pulls out a banana.  I let them know about the superstition.  As soon as Dan took the last bite of the banana, Colleen caught the first speck of the trip.   It was classic.  Then Dan said he can’t fish because he has banana in his belly – HA!!! Fun time with this crew despite the nursery fishing.  Thanks guys
